What to expect
Some questions you may be asking…
What is the service like?
Every Sunday, we open our service with prayer, asking God to bless our time together. Following that, our worship team helps lead a time of worship through singing; we sing 4-5 songs that are a combination of hymns and modern worship songs. Interspersed through the time of singing are Scripture reading and a time of corporate prayer. After that, we dismiss children to a kids’ group so they can from God’s Word at an age appropriate level while the adults engage in a relevant message from a particular passage or on a particular topic from God’s Word.
How long is your service?
Our morning worship service begins at 10:30 with coffee served before and after the morning service. Typically our services run between 60 and 75 minutes.
What about my kids?
We always strive to have a clean environment with well-trained staff to help your kids enjoy their time here at Central. We have a staffed nursery for 0-2 year olds for the entirety of the morning service as well as children’s church groups for kids ages 2-10 years old during the message portion of the service. If your kids feel more comfortable staying with you for the service, that’s perfectly fine too.
What should I wear?
We have church attenders who wear suits and dresses as well as those who wear blue jeans and t-shirts. What’s most important to us isn’t what you’re wearing on the outside, but how a relationship with Jesus can change you on the inside.
Are you going to ask me for money?
We do not have an “offering time” in our service, and do not expect first time attendees to give anything. While giving is a way our members and some of our regular attenders worship God, there is absolutely no pressure for visitors to do so.
Where should I park?
We have special visitor parking right near the front doors, and a large parking lot next to the church if those spots are all filled.
